The felt lettuce leaf is such a nice touch—it's soft and easy for little hands to grip, and the wooden veggies feel sturdy enough for daily play. We've had it a week and the pot with the lid has already become the star of every pretend meal.

My three-year-old hasn't put the spoon down since we opened the box—the lid on the pot fits snugly enough that she can practice opening and closing it herself, and the felt lettuce leaf is a nice soft contrast to the wooden veggies. The whole set is lightweight, so she can carry it around the house

The wooden veggies are chunky and solid, so my son can grip them easily while he "steams" everything under the lid. It's simple, but the steam effect from the pot really sells the pretend play for him.
