My three-year-old has played with this udon set every single day since it arrived — the chopsticks are the perfect size for little hands to practice gripping. The tempura shrimp and fish cakes look surprisingly realistic, and the bowl is sturdy enough to survive being dropped on the kitchen floor.

The knife actually slices the fish cakes cleanly, which surprised me for a toy. My daughter loves assembling the tempura shrimp and egg into the bowl and pretending to slurp the noodles like a real udon chef.
