My two-year-old keeps coming back to this puzzle just to pet the pieces. The cut-outs are chunky enough for little hands to grab, and each animal has a different feel she likes to compare.
The different fabric on each animal piece is what sold me — my daughter rubs the fuzzy one and won't let go. Six pieces is just right for little hands, not too overwhelming.
My two-year-old keeps going back to this one, mostly because each animal cut-out has a different fabric to rub between his fingers. The pieces are chunky enough for his hands and the textures actually keep him sitting still for a while.
