Cargo Ship & Crane

The magnets on the crane are strong enough that my son can actually lift the blocks without them slipping, which surprised me for a toy at this price. He's four and has figured out the loading sequence on his own, and the ship's shape holds up to being pushed around the rug.

My 3-year-old spends ages loading the four cargo blocks onto the ship, then tipping them back out again. The crane magnet holds them surprisingly well even when he swings it a bit too fast.

The magnetic crane actually grabs the four cargo blocks and my 4-year-old can load them onto the ship by himself, which keeps him busy way longer than I expected. The blocks snap on firmly enough that they don't slide around while he's lifting them.
