Hape Wooden Retro Train & Station Set

My 3-year-old figured out the shape-matching cart on his own within ten minutes, and the little station house has survived two weeks of daily play without a scratch. The 12 shapes are bright enough to hold his attention but small enough for his hands to grab easily.

The wooden blocks are chunky enough for little hands, and my daughter figured out the shape-matching on her own within a day. The station pieces have held up through plenty of rough play too.

My 3-year-old spends ages dropping the 12 wooden shapes into the cart and dumping them out again, and the pieces are chunky enough that she can grab them without frustration. The retro station design is charming too, feels like a proper little set rather than a plastic toy.
